Special mission of Ukraine’s military claims one life, 13 wounded

LUGANSK, July 05. /ITAR-TASS/. One person was killed and 13 were wounded in the special mission of Ukraine’s military near Lugansk (in south-east), press service of self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Lugansk said on Saturday.

“On July 4, 13 people were wounded, including an 11 year-old child. All the wounded were taken to hospital. In Bolshaya Vergunka (Lugansk’s district) was destroyed a house, where a family with many children lived. The shelling killed a young man of 22, and an 11 year-old child was wounded,” the press service reports.

“At night, the Republic’s self defence forces counter attacked positions of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, which are in the Krasny Yar district (to north-east of Lugansk). The self defence forces used tanks and mortars.”

Now the sides are at their positions. During the fight, the press service said, “Ukrainian special forces lost equipment, number of victims is not available yet,” the source said.

Currently, the situation in the city is quiet.
