Lugansk People’s Republic forms a new government to bring the power closer to people

LUGANSK, July 05, /ITAR-TASS/. Valery Bolotov, the head of the proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, dismissed the republic’s government on Friday, the Lugansk People’s Republic said on its official website.

“Now, we are going to separate the management of the armed forces from questions of social and economic development and make the power closer to the Lugansk People’s Republic. It is time to deal with economic management, social affairs, budget and administrative issues,” Bolotov told a news conference.

“We hope that the new government line-up will soon be approved,” Bolotov went on to say.

“It is necessary to divide the military authorities and civilian government,” he said in conclusion.

Marat Bashirov was appointed acting chairman of the Lugansk People’s Repbulic. All acting ministers will perform their functions until a new cabinet of ministers is formed.
