KIEV, June 28, 16:05 /ITAR-TASS/. The only state language in Ukraine “was, is and will be the Ukrainian” language, Ukraine’s President Pyotr Poroshenko said in an address devoted to the 18th anniversary of the country’s Constitution.

“Decentralisation, which will be fixed in the Constitution, means additional authorities for local communities, including in the historic memory, cultural traditions and language policies,” he said. “But the only state language in Ukraine was, is and will be the Ukrainian language.
