BRUSSELS, June 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Foreign Ministers of 28 NATO countries are expected not to expand measures for putting political pressure on Russia due to the crisis in Ukraine, a source in the NATO headquarters has said.

Practical cooperation between NATO and Russia will remain suspended, the source told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.

At the same time, the source said the parties would continue the political dialogue.

On April 1, NATO foreign ministers agreed to suspend “all practical civilian and military cooperation” with Russia, besides sessions of the Russia-NATO Council at the level of ambassadors and at a higher level. Ministers also decided that political dialogue in the NATO-Russia Council can continue, as necessary, at the Ambassadorial level and above, mainly to discuss the crisis in Ukraine. Political consultations in the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council at the Ambassadorial level can also continue as appropriate.
