TEL AVIVI, June 22 /ITAR-TASS/. A search in the building of Palmedia company in Ramallah in the West Bank of the Jordan did not target the bureau of Russia Today television channel, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces told Itar-Tass.
He said the search was part of an Army operation in the West Bank and was linked directly to the activities of Al-Quds broadcasting company that had strong connections with Hamas and was instigating terror against Israel.
In the course of the operation in the West Bank that was held on the night from Friday to Saturday, the Israeli military broke into Palmedia’s building in Ramallah.
RT correspondent Yafa Staiti said the soldiers blew out the doors inside the building, smashed properties in the leased offices, and confiscated archival documents.
