Mini-bus comes under fire in Ukraine’s Lugansk region, leaving one dead

Six are wounded

KIEV, June 20, /ITAR-TASS/. Unidentified armed people in camouflage opened fire on a mini-bus that was driving miners home, killing one and wounding another six, in the city of Krasnodon in the Lugansk region, the spokeswoman of the Lugansk regional police said on Friday.

“At 17.00 local time (18.00 Moscow time) people armed with automatic guns and wearing camouflage opened fire on a mini-bus which was driving ten miners from work,” Tatiana Pogukai said.

“One man died on the spot and six were taken to hospital,” she said.

The investigation is under way, she said.
