Sanctions without UN SC approval trample international law — Russian PM

ST. PETERSBURG, June 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Friday certain countries’ decisions to impose sanctions without UN approval violate international law.

“When decisions regarding other countries are made without the authorization of the UN Security Council, it violates or tramples international and national law,” Medvedev said at a meeting with law students.
