NEKLINOVSKY DISTRICT, June 12./ITAR-TASS/. Tension of the situation with Ukrainian refugees in Russia’s Rostov region is growing, as the region has accommodated about 4,000 people, and the inflow still continues, the region’s deputy governor, Sergei Bondarev, said on Thursday.

“In the region there are almost 4,000 refugees, there 1,800 are children,” he said. “The situation is getting more complicated. The refugees are not coming in groups any longer, they are getting here on their own. We are meeting them, and take to Russia’s other regions.”

He added the region managed as yet to cope with the problems, but “the times are tough.”
