KRAMATORSK, June 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Civilians are leaving Kramatorsk, a city in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, after heavy shelling last night, a local militia representative told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.

“The shelling started at midnight on Monday and lasted until 04:00 (01:00 GMT) in the morning. Several workshops of the Energomashspetsstal plant were damaged. The shelling was so strong that things in houses and apartments were falling from shelves,” the militiaman said. "Even those who used to stay in the city during previous armed clashes decided to flee the fighting today. People take their families and go where they can,” he added.
