Military aircraft crashes in California

NBC reported that there had been no casualties in the incident

LOS ANGELES, June 05. /ITAR-TASS/. A military aircraft has crushed in Imperial Valley in southern California on Wednesday, KTLA reported. The Harrier AV-8B was from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma in Arizona.

The pilot was able to eject safely before the crash. He has been hospitalized, and there has yet been no reports on his condition.

The incident occurred at 4.20 pm local time. According to eyewitnesses’ reports, the crash was followed by a powerful explosion.

At least one residential house was hit in the crash, and at least two were set on fire. NBC reported that there had been no casualties in the incident.
