20 lawmakers quit Party of Regions faction in Ukrainian parliament

KIEV, June 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Twenty lawmakers have quit the faction of the Party of Regions, once the ruling party under President Viktor Yanukovych, in the Ukrainian parliament, parliament speaker and parliament-appointed interim president Oleksandr Turchynov said on Tuesday.

Thus, once the Verkhovna Rada biggest faction of 200 lawmakers, the Party of Regions faction now has only 83 seats.
