SUKHUM, May 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Abkhazia’s temporary People’s Council considers President’s Ankvab’s refusal to resign, on what the parliament has insisted, as a demonstration of “lack of responsibility and absolute indifference to the nation’s future.”

“Alexander Ankvab has lost touch with the country’s nation and the reality, thus he cannot remain the country’s leader,” the opposition says in a statement, calling on the president to resign.
