Presidential election in Ukraine held in compliance with international norms — OSCE

KIEV, May 26. /ITAR-TASS/. The presidential elections in Ukraine on May 25 were held in compliance with democratic standards and international norms, according to a report made public by observers of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on Monday.

“The elections have confirmed that the people of Ukraine choose democracy,” Joao Soares, special coordinator of the OSCE Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, said.
