Ukrainian government to hold meeting in Vinnytsia May 16

KIEV, May 15. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian government will hold its next meeting in Vinnytsia, Western Ukraine, on May 16, the cabinet of ministers said in a report released on Thursday. The meeting is scheduled for 13:00 Moscow time (09:00 GMT).

There are 18 issues on the agenda, including draft laws on the basic principles of state regional policy; on ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding between Ukraine and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on deployment of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

Drafts of presidential decrees on awards for cultural achievements will also be part of the agenda.

Anatoly Oleinik, head of the Vinnytsia regional administration, will be the first to deliver a report on social and economic development of the Vinnytsia region.
