MOSCOW, May 15. /ITAR-TASS/. The United States has asked Russian rocket engine producer Energomash to increase supplies of rocket engines RD-180 from 29 pieces to 37 up to 2018, Energomash Executive Director Vladimir Solntsev told ITAR-TASS on Thursday.
“The US asks us to increase the overall number of rocket engines by eight pieces. They want us to augment annual delivery for some number of engines. In particular, it is planned in 2015 that we will supply eight rocket engines instead of five,” he noted.
