VILNIUS, May 12, /ITAR-TASS/. The name of new president of Lithuania will become known after an election runoff is held on May 25.
Following the processing of ballot-papers from 100% of polling stations (2,004), the present Head of State Dalia Grybauskaite polled 45.89% of the vote in the first round.
Zigmantas Balchitis of the ruling Social Democratic Party (13.63% of the vote), will be her rival in the second round of elections.
