Over 2000 people killed in Afghanistanian landslide

ABU DHABI, May 3. / ITAR-TASS /. At least 2.1 thousand people were killed in a landslide in north-eastern Afghanistan. On this Saturday Pazhvok news agency reported.

Previously received information that the landslide, which occurred on May 2, killing 350 people, another 2.5 thousand missing. Element has caused large-scale destruction: in one of the mountain villages in Badakhshan province were destroyed about 200 homes.

According to the UN , more than 4000 people were evacuated from the affected areas. Now it gets necessary assistance.
