DONETSK, May 3 (Itar-Tass) - The council of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic has declared all the Ukrainian power structures in its territory are resubordinated to itself.
The presidium of the republic's council, exercising its powers entrusted by people, has decreed that all units and power structures of the Interior Ministry, the Defence Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the Justice Ministry, the state security service and other state authorities are resubordinated directly to the council presidium for the transitional period," the republic's co-chairman Denis Pushilin read out the statement at a press conference.
Senior officials and commanders who disagree with the decision should resign or would be forcedly dismissed, he said.
The decree came into force when it was signed and made public, Pushilin stated.
