LONDON, May 1. /ITAR-TASS/. Malaysian authorities have published a report with preliminary investigation results of the circumstances of Boeing 777-200 disappearance with 227 passengers onboard. According to Reuters news agency, a copy of the 5-page document was sent via e-mail to media outlets, as well as to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) that controls the industry’s development.

In the report dated April 9, it is pointed to the necessity of introducing a real-time plane tracking system in order to prevent similar tragedies.

Boeing 777-200 was performing a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crewmembers onboard. The communication with the airliner was lost nearly two hours after its departure from the Malaysian capital. March 24, the air carrier released a statement informing about the death of everyone who was onboard.
