UN Security Council to hold open meeting on situation in Ukraine

UNITED NATIONS, April 29. /ITAR-TASS/. The UN Security Council on Tuesday will hold a meeting on the situation in Ukraine, which will be the first after a two-week pause. Permanent mission of Luxembourg to the United Nations said this on Monday.

“UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman will hold a briefing for the Council members,” the diplomatic mission said.

According to the UN Security Council schedule, the meeting will be open and will be held in the afternoon, New York time (late night Moscow time). Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Yuri Sergeyev is expected to attend the meeting.

The UN Security Council’s previous meeting on Ukraine was held on April 16.
