KIEV, April 24./Itar-Tass/. Ukrainian parliament deputies from the Party of Regions would not participate in voting until their demands and demands of protesters in the country's eastern regions were met, the regionals' leader Oleksandr Yefremov told the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday.

"People in Ukraine's eastern regions demand to determine the Russian language status and take important decisions at referendums," Yefremov said. "Such issues are not decided by authorities, but only declared." Until the issues were settled, the group of the Party of Regions would not vote, Yefremov stated. When the parliament meeting opened, 274 deputies were registered as present.
