Russia ready to aid South Korea in ferry rescue works

MOSCOW, April 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia is ready to render aid to South Korea in rescue works on board the ferry that capsized in the Yellow Sea on Wednesday, April 16, Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has said.

“Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has expressed his condolences to the South Korean government,” the ministry’s spokesman, Alexander Drobyshevsky told ITAR-TASS on Monday.

“The Russian ministry is ready to provide special rescue equipment and send trained divers,” he said.
