KIEV, April 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Alexander Sapunov, known as people' s mayor of the settlement of Horlivka in the Donetsk region, has been kidnapped. Alexander Sapunov's wife has confirmed reports about the abduction of the head of the local administration elected by local protesters.
Sapunov's supporters, who have informed police that Sapunov has been missing, have begun search for the missing mayor on their own.
Alexander Sapunov was proclaimed a new mayor of the settlement of Gorlovka on April 14 when the local opposition seized the building of the Horlivka administration.
