The Kiev region is a leader in terms of unpaid salaries - wage arrears there amounted to 148 million hryvnias (about 11.4 million U.S. dollars). It is followed by the Kharkov region with its wage arrears of 86.8 million hryvnias (6.7 million U.S. dollars) and the Donetsk region (73 million hryvnias, or 5.6 million U.S. dollars).
