Boston tragedy anniversary

April 15, 2013, two explosions occured in the center of Boston during the annual marathon

As a result of the Boston Marathon bombing, three people were killed and over 260 were injured. The main suspects in the attack are two brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Tamerlan (26) was killed in a shoot-out with the police. Dzokhar (20) is facing death penalty. The trial is set for November 3.

Three more people are involved in the case. Two of them are Kazakhstan citizens, Dias Kadyrbaev and Azamat Tazhayakov; the third is a US citizen, Robel Fillipos. All three were were  Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's room mates in the Boston University dorm. Kadyrbaev and Tazhayakov were charged with helping to cover Tsarnaev's tracks, Fillipos is accused of false testimony. Their trial is set for June 23, 2014
