Ukraine’s justice ministry stands for dissolving two political parties

KIEV, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Justice Ministry has filed a petition with an administrative court asking it to dissolve the Russian Bloc and Russian Unity parties, the Justice Minister appointed by Verkhovna Rada, Pavel Petrenko, told reporters on Friday.

“The Justice Ministry has filed two lawsuits aiming to dissolve two political parties involved in separatist activities,” he said dubbing the parties as the Russian Bloc and Russian Unity.

Law enforcement agencies had provided documents to the ministry, justifying the parties’ participation in separatist actions, and after that the ministry complained to the administrative court.

“I think the rulings will be taken in the near future in line with the procedural provisions stipulated in administrative law,” Petrenko said.
