MOSCOW, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. In his telephone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on the Unated States to use its influence on the Kiev authorities to make them refrain from the use of force and push towards a dialogue with representatives from Ukrainian regions.

“Lavrov drew attention to the disturbed situation in Ukraine’s southeast, including ongoing threats of storming the buildings that are under control of protesters,” the ministry said. “The Russian foreign minister called on the US side to use its influence on the Kiev authorities to make them refrain from the use of force and drive them towards a dialogue with representatives from Ukrainian regions in a bid to create conditions for a comprehensive constitutional reform," the ministry added.
