MINSK, April 11, 1:00 /ITAR-TASS/. Foreign guests who may decide to go to Belarus for the 2014 ice hockey championship using their own cars will be able to take the country’s toll roads for free under a decree signed by President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
“During the period from April 25 to May 31 the use of toll roads will be free for all users of motor vehicles registered outside the member-countries of the Customs Union and having a mass of no more than 3.5 tonnes and the towed trailers,” the presidential press-service said.
The measure was taken to facilitate entry procedures and the movement about Belarus for official participants and foreign tourists.
