“The parties exchanged views on the situation inside Syria and around it,” ministry says

MOSCOW, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Iran speak out for settling the Syrian crisis in accordance with international law, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday after talks between Russian presidential special envoy for the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanai.

“The parties exchanged views on the situation inside Syria and around it,” the ministry said. “They emphasized the need for an early political settlement of the Syrian crisis based on principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
