Parliamentary Assembly of Mediterranean favors constitutional settlement in Ukraine

MOSCOW, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) has called for carrying out a constitutional reform in Ukraine.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, Foreign Ministry special envoy for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov and Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Francesco Amoruso “exchanged views on prospects for Russia-PAM cooperation, including contribution to settling the conflict in Syria, resolution of the Palestinian problem and the situation in Libya”, the Foreign Ministry says.

“The parties favor the soonest settlement of the conflict in Ukraine by carrying out a constitutional reform and preserving the country’s neutral status,” the ministry says.
