LONDON, April 08, /ITAR-TASS/. European Union plans to set up a “special support group” for helping Ukraine stabilize its ruining economy and muddled political situation, Reuters learned from an EU diplomat who spoke to it in Brussels on conditions of anonymity.
An official announcement on creation of the “support group” is expected to be made on Wednesday. The diplomat said the new body would bring together "several dozen people" who would work out “priorities” for the Ukraine, the diplomat said without going into further details.
"The support group will identify and coordinate with the Ukrainian authorities the necessary help and assistance they need to stabilize the economy and political situation,” as well as help with the reforms, he claimed.
