MOSCOW, April 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Search and destruction of subversive groups of an imaginary enemy is being simulated in training which began at Russia's military base 201 in Tajikistan on Monday, Central Military District spokesman Colonel Yaroslav Roshchupkin told ITAR-TASS.

The drill is being led by military district chief-of-staff Lieutenant General Alexander Dvornikov, the spokesman said. “Maneuvers are held simultaneously at the three training areas of Lyaur, Sambuli and Momirak,” Roshchupkin added.

About 1,000 personnel from motor-rifle, artillery and reconnaissance units are taking part, using more than 500 units of military hardware.
