KIEV, April 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said on Saturday that it had detained a subversive group in Ukraine’s Lugansk region that had planned to seize power in the region, the SBU press service reports.
“Ukraine’s Security Service detained 15 activists of a subversive group in a full-scale operation. They confiscated 300 tommy-guns, one anti-tank grenade launcher, a huge number of grenades; Molotov cocktails; huge amounts of smooth-bore weapons and cold steel arms,” the SBU says in its report.
The group allegedly planned to seize power in the Lugansk region by force on April 10.
