ISLAMABAD, April 03. /ITAR-TASS/. A powerful blast occurred in Pakistan’s Islamabad near a bridge on the convoy route of the country’s former president Pervez Musharraf.
The politician was not hurt in the attack. Musharraf was en route from a hospital, where he had been treated for heart problems since January, to his countryside residence.
The police said the terrorist attack was targeted against Pakistan’s former leader. The bomb was planted on the side of the road.
