KIEV, April 02, /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian Parliament-appointed acting President Alexander Turchinov said Viktor Yanukovich “has forfeited legitimacy” as the president of Ukraine.
Yanukovich’s statements “have no legal or political force for Ukraine”, Turchinov told Shuster Live television programme on Wednesday, April 2.
The remarks followed Yanukovich’s interview given earlier in the day to The Associated Press and Russia’s NTV television channel in Rostov on Don, southern Russia.
