MOSCOW, April 02. /ITAR-TASS/. The Air Defense Coordination Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will hold its 40th meeting in Yerevan, Armenia, on April 8.
“The participants in the meeting will review the results of the Coordination Committee’s work in 2013, discuss joint operational and combat training events for the CIS air defense system in 2014 and priority research projects in the field of air defense, as well as several other issues concerning the improvement and development of the united air defense system of the CIS member states,” the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, April 2.
Participating in the meeting will be delegations from the defense ministries of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
