BEIRUT, April 02. /ITAR-TASS/. Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad has upheld Russia’s position on Crimea.

“A game against Russia is underway,” the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society Chairman, Sergei Stepashin has said.

“President Bashar al-Assad said Syria backed Moscow following Crimea’s reunification with Russia,” Stepashin told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
