Finland postpones meeting of intergovernmental commission

HELSINKI, April 02. /ITAR-TASS/. Finland’s Foreign Ministry has postponed a session of the Russian-Finnish intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation.

“I confirm that the commission will gather later due to the difficult international situation,” the Finnish Foreign Ministry’s Director for Communications, Keijo Norvanto has said.

“We do not know when the commission will gather,” he said.

Finnish Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb said “We will meet later. I believe that Russia will not be against it.”

The commission is co-chaired by Alexander Stubb of Finland and Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Kozak.
