FM: Ukraine not to yield to federalization but to give more powers to local authorities

BRUSSELS, April 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine will never agree on the federalization of the country but will give more powers to local authorities, Ukraine’s acting Foreign Minister Andrei Deshchitsa said on Tuesday after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine commission.

“Ukraine will never yield to Russia’s demands to federalize the country,” he said. “We will simply give more powers to local authorities.
