KHUJAND, April 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow International Security Conference is a good platform for exchanging views on global security and regional crises, Russia’s Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has said.
“Moscow will host the conference in May 2014 and focus on the situation in the Middle East, North Africa and Afghanistan,” he told a session of the Council of SCO Defence Ministers on Tuesday.
The conference is organised by the Defence Ministry and touches upon military and political issues, Shoigu said.
“I want to thank those who have expressed readiness to arrive in Moscow. We hope that your participation will make serious contribution to resolving global security issues,” he said.
