MOSCOW, March 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Peace Mission 2014 anti-terrorist exercises will be conducted in China in late August, Russia’s military official has said.
“Military delegations of member-states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) have held consultations in Beijing over the Peace Mission 2014 exercises. The delegations agreed to hold the manoeuvres at the Zhurihe training ground, Inner Mongolia at the end of August,” spokesman to the Eastern Military District, Lieutenant-Colonel Aleksander Gordeyev told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The exercises will involve over 600 servicemen of the motor-rifle unit and over 100 pieces of hardware.
The third round of consultations over the Peace Mission exercises will be held at the end of May or the beginning of June.
