MOSCOW, March 31. /ITAR-TASS/. No reports have been available yet who will represent Ukraine at the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers due to be held in Moscow on April, Russia’s senior diplomat has said.
“We’ll wait for reports from the CIS Executive Committee over this issue. As far as we know the invitation has been sent,” Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told the State Duma lower house of Russia’s parliament on Monday.
“We maintain contacts with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry,” he said.
Recently Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has met with acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Deshchytsia.
The new meeting has not been planned. “Sergey Lavrov has not returned from Paris. He’ll tell us when he returns,” Karasin said.
