KIEV, March 30, /ITAR-TASS/. Five people died in a major road accident in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region on Sunday. The driver of a minivan registered in Moldova lost control of the wheel that resulted in the car skidding of the road and have stuck in the tree at the 658th kilometre of Odessa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk highway near village Lebedinskoye, the country’s state emergency situation service said.
“Five people died and 16 more people were taken to Novoazovsk hospitals with different injuries as a result of the road accident,” the state emergencies service said.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the road accident.
