Ukraine’s parliament dismisses head of antimonopoly committee

KIEV, March 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Lawmakers of the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, voted on Wednesday in favor of dismissing Vasyl Tsushko from the post of the head of Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee.

With the necessary 226 votes to make the decision, a total of 238 lawmakers voted in favor of dismissing Tsushko, who headed the committee since December of 2010.

The voting came after Tsushko personally submitted a letter of resignation with the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee.
