MOSCOW, March 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Head of the United Aircraft Building Corporation Mikhail Pogosyan has expressed confidence that the West’s economic sanctions against Russia will not hit mutually advantageous cooperation of aircraft makers.

“I believe that our economic cooperation is mutually advantageous and those political decisions that are being taken today should not affect and will not affect our close long-term cooperation,” he told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“We laid the groundwork, the destruction of which will not benefit our foreign partners and us,” Pogosyan said, adding that Western partners realized quite well that it was impossible to build long-term cooperation in connection with certain ongoing events.
