KIEV, March 22, /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s parliament-appointed acting President Alexander Turchinov said his country needed “military-technical support from strategic partners”.
“Our country needs not only moral but real military-technical support from our strategic partners and guarantors of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Turchinov said at a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Saturday, March 22.
Turchinov and Harper discussed the situation in Ukraine. “Regardless of the world’s reaction, Ukrainians are ready to defend their country,” the parliament-appointed acting president said.
