BUENOS AIRES, March 22, 19:07 /ITAR-TASS/. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 shook northern Chile on Saturday, March 22.

The seismic service of the University of Chile said the earthquake had centered 85 km west of the port city of Iquique at a depth of 21 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.

The Chilean Navy’s Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service said there was no risk of tsunami in the Pacific.
