KIEV, March 21./ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s gas reserves in its underground gas storages (UGS) vary between seven and eight billion cubic metres, the Ukrainian Power Industry journal quoted Energy Minister Yuri Prodan as saying during his visit to Brussels.

“About one billion cubic metres of them are in the storages of the Chernomorneftegaz,” he said.

Earlier, Ukrtransgaz posted on 7.5 billion cubic metres of gas reserves in the company’s UGSs.

At the beginning of the heating season of 2013-2014, eighteen billion cubic metres of gas were loaded into the UGSs of Ukraine.
