KIEV, March 20. /ITAR-TASS/. The draft law denouncing the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) of July 1, 1968 was submitted to the Ukrainian parliament on Thursday, March 20.
The draft, submitted by two MPs from the Batkivshchina (Fatherland) party and one MP from the UDAR (Punch) party, will go to the relevant committees for a review.
Radical MP Oleg Lyashko demanded at the parliament plenary session on Thursday that Ukraine should regain the status of nuclear power.
