Ukrainian government plans to evacuate Ukrainian nationals from Crimea

"I hope that migration is not going to be threatening", minister says

KIEV, March 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s interim government has adopted a plan of evacuation of Ukrainian nationals from Crimea to mainland Ukraine.

“The government and Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council have adopted a plan which obliges all local government bodies and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine to be ready to receive Ukrainians arriving from Crimea,” Ostap Semerak, the parliament-appointed minister at the Ukrainian cabinet of ministers, told a briefing on Wednesday, adding that all the evacuees would be provided with accommodation.

“I hope that migration is not going to be threatening but the authorities should be ready to react to possible migration flows,” Semerak said.
